Republic Bank (EC) Ltd injects $25,000 into staging of 2023 WCMF

The Republic Bank (EC) Limited has injected $25,000 into the staging of the 23rd edition of the World Creole Music Festival (WCMF) scheduled for October 27 – 29, 2023, at the Windsor Park Sports Stadium in Roseau.

The cheque was made available to Festivals and Event Manager of Discover Dominica Authority (DDA), Nathalie Walsh during the WCMF weekly press conference on Wednesday.

“We are extremely happy to be supporting this historic cultural extravaganza, the World Creole Music Festival,” Service and Support Officer of the Republic Bank (EC) Ltd, Nicole Karam said while delivering remarks.

According to her, this is the first time the company has supported the WCMF, “and we are really excited. “

Judging from observations over the years, Karam said the company is indeed impressed and satisfied with the level of coordination and execution of the festival, “and as such we were left with very little choice, but to get on board.”

Karam went on to state that as a corporate sponsor Republic Bank is not just about handing over cheques and branding events, but rather will be getting actively involved in the various aspects of the season as the company joins in the celebration of Dominica’s national pride.

“To the World Creole Music Festival organizing committee and all stakeholders, congratulations on a well-executed season launch activities and we are super excited to work with you to execute an even better experience for 2023,” she stated.

She mentioned also that the Republic Bank stands firm and is ready to work with all stakeholders in the Nature Island to make a difference in the communities we serve.

The Republic Bank team looks forward to a successful festival.
