The theme ‘Creole Fusion’ encourages participants to don outfits that combine traditional Creole elements with contemporary, colorful designs, aiming to create a lively and engaging atmosphere. The Jazz n’ Creole festival has seen remarkable growth, with Tourism Minister Denise Charles-Pemberton reporting a 59% increase in attendance at last year’s event. Additionally, the festival witnessed a 55% increase in revenue compared to 2022, drawing visitors not only from Dominica but also from the region, the French West Indies, the United States, and Dominican nationals living abroad. This surge in attendance and financial success underscores the festival’s growing appeal and its significant impact on promoting Dominica’s cultural heritage and tourism industry.
